At Ready DCP, we are experts in the creation of Digital Cinema Packages (DCPs). Since 1995, we have been immersed in the post-production world, contributing to the final stages of filmmaking and ensuring that films are presented at their best. Over the past two decades, our focus has increasingly shifted toward serving film festivals and independent filmmakers, particularly since 2005. During this time, we’ve had the privilege of working closely with festivals to help screen thousands of films, creating and curating Digital Cinema Packages (DCPs) that bring filmmakers’ visions to life on the big screen.
One of our primary goals is to make the process of creating a DCP as smooth and stress-free as possible for filmmakers. A DCP is a collection of digital files that contains the essential audio, video, and subtitle data necessary for projecting a film in theaters. It is the gold standard for theatrical playback, allowing films to be screened in pristine quality, preserving the filmmaker’s creative intent. Our team’s expertise lies in meticulously crafting these packages to ensure that every film not only looks and sounds amazing but is also compatible with the widest range of theater projection systems.

In addition to our DCP services, we also offer support for filmmakers who want to create Blu-Ray and DVD backups or master files of their films. These physical formats are still important for archival purposes, as well as for personal distribution or smaller screenings. We provide ISO files, which are digital copies of a disc that can be used for mastering physical media or as backups. This service allows filmmakers to ensure they have a high-quality version of their film ready to distribute or preserve for years to come.
